International Sfogato Music & Arts Festival is the only regular festival event in Kraków inspired purely by the music and creative personality of Fryderyk Chopin. It is symbolized by the name of the event – “sfogato”, the Italian word used for the first time by Fryderyk Chopin as a musical term to describe one of the episodes of his Barcarolle in F sharp major Op. 60.
This year's festival will be inaugurated by a concert Chopin soirée. The festival also includes: piano workshop, International Sfogato Ringtone & Signal Composers Competition and the conference: Music – Art – Media.
