Still Corners are acclaimed for their delicate vocals and otherworldly mood. But to call Tessa Murray and Greg Hughes monotonous would be just plain wrong. The British/American duo’s music intertwines sounds resembling Ennio Morricone, elements of psychedelia and synths straight from the 1980s. They were soon picked up by the prestigious Sub Pop label, and their music is frequently featured in TV ads, films and Netflix series. They decided to mark their independence by founding their own record label Wrecking Light. In April this year, they will use it to release their latest album Dream Talk on which they replace their favourite synths with more traditional instruments.
