Johann Sebastian Bach - Ich geh’ und suche. Concert at the end of Advent

The Krakow Chamber Opera invites to a performance of Jan Sebastian Bach's cantata Ich geh 'und suche.

Ich geh 'und suche is a sublime combination of music and singing with elements of acting, composition of the stage movement and original costume.
The musical tissue is based on master cantatas - selected fragments, from BMV 155 Mein Gott wie lang, ah Lange, through BMV 103, 32 to BMV 49 Ich geh ’und suche mit Verlangen (I walk and look with longing desire).
The elaborate vocal and instrumental parts are strengthened by the dialogues conducted by the actors (excerpts from the Book of Psalms).
