The International Royal Cracow Piano Festival once again turns the capital of Małopolska into a centre of pianism. The 11th edition of the acclaimed event is held between 13 and 27 October

This year, the organisers present nine recitals by world-famous musicians. The festival is opened by Ivo Kahánek from Czechia (13 October, Sukiennice Art Gallery); we will also hear the Croatian duo of Ivana Maja Vidović and Vesna Miletić (18 October, Białoprądnicki Manor), Laura Sierra Ramos and Manuel Tévaro from Spain performing as Iberian & Klavier (19 October, Main Building of the National Museum) and our very own Marek Szlezer (25 October, Aula Florianka). The repertoire includes a wide range of European piano music, with a focus on Romanticism from Mendelssohn to Rachmaninoff. Cracovian events will be accompanied by recitals in other cities in Małopolska including Nowy Sącz, Krynica-Zdrój and Muszyna.
