Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa invites for a concert of sacred music by Stanisław Moniuszko as performed by Śląsk Folk Song and Dance Ensemble.

During the concert we will hear Latin Mass in Des major as well as 1st and 2nd Litanies of Ostra Brama by Stanisław Moniuszko - composer who had written not only operas and songs, but also around eighty sacred music pieces - masses, cantatas, hymns, litanies and psalms. Brilliant Moniuszko works evoke musical folk culture and wonderfully correspond to Śląsk Ensemble level of artistry. Performers of Ensemble choir and orchestra will make sure that their efforts will provide listeners with great musical and aesthetic impressions as well as honor the memory of distinguished Polish composer. 

Śląsk Folk Song and Dance Ensemble is one of most renowned artistic brands in Poland. The ensemble had performed in 44 countries on five continents with over 7 thousands of concerts for 25 million of people. It's over hundred-person line-up consists of choir, ballet and orchestra. Ensemble's current programmes covers over a dozen different artistic forms - huge shows presenting colourful and dynamic panorama of world music, impressive educational concerts and classical / sacred music perfrormances.
