The University New Year Concert - the MozART Group and the Beethoven Academy Orchestra.

The University New Year Concert has never sounded so promising! This year’s artists include the cellist and conductor Maciej Niesiołowski known to viewers from his popular classical music TV programmes, the MozART Group and the Beethoven Academy Orchestra. On 6 January, the joyful musicians will be joined at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University by soloists Agnieszka Kowaluk (mezzo-soprano), Ewa Harasimiuk (trombone) and Joanna Makarczuk (double bass). During the concert With a Baton and MozART, the artists present classical hits in unusual arrangements. We will hear Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Brahms’ Hungarian Dances and Bach’s Badinerie, as well as operatic accents and syncopated music standards.
