Christmas Fair 2018

The ceremonial switching on of the lights on the Christmas tree at the Main Market Square marks the opening of the annual Christmas Fair on 1 December. The market square ushers in the festive spirit throughout December. You can buy Christmas decorations and presents, admire the pageant of 143 Santas (commemorating the 143th anniversary of Kraków’s public transport) and the parade of carollers, watch the Cracovian Bethlehem performance and join with joyful carolling by the statue of Adam Mickiewicz marking the end of the fair. Festive sounds and fragrances fill the Main Market Square until 26 December.
