In their daily lives they are neurologists, ophthalmologists, surgeons, oncologists, dermatologists… But every now and again they put down their stethoscopes, scalpels and blood pressure meters and swap them for violins, cellos, flutes and trumpets. The World Doctors Orchestra is an international ensemble combining the pleasure of fine music with global musical responsibility. They perform at ICE Kraków on 12 October, joined by the acclaimed young pianist Krzysztof Książek during a concert raising funds for the DKMS Foundation working to delete blood cancer. Let’s listen and raise money!
