Songs and dances by Fryderyk Chopin and Józef Elsner resound on 4 August during the concert held as part of the cycle Pianoforte at Europeum. We will hear the soprano Paulina Horajska, accompanied by Magdalena Bąk on square piano – made around 1835 by Anders Hulting and described as a “poor cousin” of grand pianos. It will be the first time the instrument is played in Kraków.
The concert is the next instalment of the cycle Pianoforte at Europeum organised by the Pianoforte Foundation.
