The 5th International Biennale of Interior Design INAW 2018 is a cyclical event organised by the Jan Matejko Academy in Kraków. This year’s 5th edition of the Biennale is a part of the celebrations for the 200th Anniversary of the University and has been held under the honorary patronage of Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda.
Designers, educators and students from art and design universities both at home and abroad are invited to take part in the fifth International Biennale of Interior Architecture. During the Biennale, there will be an academic conference, a competition to design a space, workshops and presentations of projects carried out under multidisciplinary activities of the Department of Interior Design in cooperation with other research and design centres.
As part of the Biennale there will be: a student competition, a post-competition exhibition of works, an international academic conference, a presentation of partner universities prepared at several sites in the city. The biennale will be accompanied by a publication with team projects from partner universities presented in the city, conference proceedings and a catalogue of student works that have won prizes or have been otherwise distinguished.
