Kraków’s hospital of the Brothers Hospitallers of St. John of God follows the motto of its patron “Do good deeds”. The hospital’s Samaritan Days, lasting two days, start on 3 June with free doctor’s consultations (registration needed). In the afternoon, the hospital garden hosts a family picnic celebrating Children’s Day with plenty of fun and games for everyone, first aid demonstrations and Georgian cuisine workshops. The artistic side comes from Jakubowe Muszelki and the Iglika Balkan Song and Dance Ensemble. To close, on 4 June the Association of Friends of the Hospitallers of St. John of God celebrates Holy Mass at the Church of the Brothers Hospitallers. The mass is followed by a word and music misterium about the order’s founder Fate Bene Fratelli. The tale of St. John of God: Lidia Jazgar with the Galicja ensemble and soloists Grzegorz Dowgiałło, Michał Ziomek and Marek Krobicki are joined by the Hasło and Cecyliański choirs to take us on a trip to 16th-century Spain.
