ELINT was founded in the winter of 2008 by Tomasz Rutkowski (RETRIBIUTION’s lead guitarist, CEMETERY OF SCREAM’s drummer) and Maciej Bartnicki (VELVET THORNS’ keyboardist). The name ELINT itself is derived from the USA’s Electronic Intelligence system used during the Cold War (acronym EL-INT). Soon, vocalist Paweł Kluczewski joined the band. Lyrically – for which the band’s godfathers Zdzisław Zabierzewski (manager) and Darryl Fuller (American supporter and co-manager) are fully responsible – the debut album concept is based on cosmic-military-totalitarian themes. At present, ELINT is working intensely on live versions of their 9 tracks included on the debut album called "New Space Order", with the new singer Dominik Burzym (producer and sound engineer). This album is out in the near future.
