4th International Jarek Smietana Jazz Guitar Competition will take place from 18th to 20th November in Kraków.
All of the Competition’s stages, including the semifinal and final auditions as well as the Gala Concert will be held at Kraków Philharmonic Hall.
The jury includes the renowned Austrian guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel, top Polish guitarist Marek Napiórkowski as well as prof. Karol Ferfecki and the Festival’s director, Witold Wnuk.
The participants are invited to submit their entries from September 15th to October 15th, 2021.
On October 31st the list of 12 participants who will compete in the semi-finals in Kraków (November 18th-19th) will be announced.
The Finals are scheduled for the early afternoon hours of November 20th and in the evening a Gala Concert will take place, featuring the three prizewinners and music stars, among others - Wolfgang Muthspiel, Marek Napiórkowski and the special guest, Stanislaw Soyka.
The prize money amounts to 30 000 PLN
The competition auditions will be livestreamed. Entrance to the auditions is free. The Gala Concert tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.pl and at the Competition Office at 52/1 Karmelicka St. (+48 123576922)
