Restored Ballet

The “Cracovia Danza” Court Ballet is bringing back an extraordinary work, forgotten for over two centuries. The ballet Cossacks, or Punishment for Deception, choreographed by Daniel Curz to Antoni Hart’s music, premiered at the National Theatre in Warsaw on 11 November 1784. The long-lost score and the libretto have been restored, and the spectacle showcases myriad Polish dances. The pre-premiere with live music and audience, planned for 23 November at the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre, will be streamed on the “Cracovia Danza” Court Ballet’s YouTube channel. Make the most of the state-of-the-art technology and participate in this unique event!
