The 17th Prof. Jan Jargoń International Organ All Souls Festival (1-9 November) once again encourages contemplation with concerts by artists from all corners of the globe. We will hear Nina Pollet from France, Stephan van de Wijgert from the Netherlands, Matteo Imbruno from Italy and Neng Yi Chen from China, as well as Polish artists Dariusz Bąkowski-Kois, Małgorzata Trzaskalik-Wyrwa, Piotr Maziarz, Jakub Woszczalski, Andrzej Białko and Roman Perucki. The repertoire includes classic organ pieces, chamber music and a concert marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of the composer and organist at Notre-Dame Louis Vierne. Concerts are held at some of the most beautiful churches in Kraków: Carmelite Church, Church of Sts Peter and Paul, Church of Corpus Christi, Church of the Holy Cross and Pauline Church. (wz)
