Krakow Accordion Festival 2020

On October 4th to 11th (Sunday to Sunday) the 5th edition of the Krakow Accordion Festival will take place. The concerts and accompanying events will take place in Krakow, the Galician Town and the Ethnographic Park in Nowy Sącz. Each day of the festival will present a different face of the accordion.

The 5th Krakow Accordion Festival is an international celebration of accordion music in all its manifestations. In addition to concerts by performers and composers of various generations in various musical genres, the festival includes many accompanying events with the accordion "in the lead role", such as: workshops, lectures, exhibition, Film Competition, Film Day with the Competition gala and a silent film concert. The festival aims to disseminate accordion music among people of all ages by showing its various uses, in various instrumental compositions and musical genres. The festival also helps to get to know Krakow, each event takes place in a different place, important for Krakow. These will be: the Academy of Music in Krakow, Alchemia, St. Catherine, Church of St. Martin. In line with the Galician tradition, the festival will also appear in the Galician Town and the Ethnographic Park of the District Museum in Nowy Sącz.
