The silence in public space causes many initiatives to be transferred to the Internet. Recent experience convinces the importance of activities related to sharing culture with a wide audience using modern technologies. One of such initiatives is the PAUart project - under which you can view on-line iconographic artistic and scientific collections stored at the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences.
You can find there, among others digitized collections of the Scientific Library of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow, with which the International Cultural Center has so far organized eleven joint exhibitions. The exhibitions at the ICC Gallery presented the most important phenomena in European graphics and were devoted to, among others human relations with the other, graphic representations of the role of a woman, justice or transience. Another joint project, the exhibition Plants and Animals. Atlases of Natural History in the Age of Linnaeus will be presented soon.
Joanna Dziewulska talks (on our You Tube channel) about how work on the digitization of resources of the Polish Academy of Science looks like. The lecture accompanied the exhibition Tempus Fugit. On time and transience presented at the ICC Gallery in 2016.
