It is perhaps best known as an instrument of virtuosos or accompanists largely blending in the background. In March, the cycle Faces of Piano reveals that the instrument is just as effective in chamber ensembles. On 13 March, we will hear the up-and-coming Krzysztof Książek, appearing in a piano duet with his wife Agnieszka Zahaczewska-Książek performing compositions by Schubert. On 27 March, the trio of Marcin Koziak (piano), Aleksandra Kuls-Koziak (violin) and Bartosz Koziak (cello) perform works by Beethoven and Ravel. Entry to both concerts at the Władysław Żeleński Music High School is free.
