This meeting will be devoted to Marshall Rosenberg, the creator of NVC (Nonviolent Communication), and the concept of using communicating in conscious dialogs. His methods not only help connect people and aid in solving conflicts without the use of pressure or force in personal/professional relations, but can also be used in a wider spectrum: communities, groups, organizations, states.
Marshall Rosenberg was born to a family of Jewish immigrants from Ukraine. He was a clinical psychologist and a student of Carl Rogers. His pioneering work in the field of communication and human relations has been developed all over the world and is continued by the Center for Nonviolent Communication, which unites certified NVC coaches from all over the world.
Zofia Aleksandra Schacht-Petersen is a teacher and psychotherapist, certified NVC coach, and founder of the School of Empathy and Dialog, where she leads courses and meetings for families and individuals. She published two books on NVC titled “Wychowanie bez klapsa” (“Raising without Spanking”; 2006) and “Dialog zamiast kar” (“Dialog without Punishment”, 2013).
