He studied with Yehudi Menuhin, graduated from the prestigious Juilliard School in New York, his Four Seasons album recorded for the EMI sold two million copies - Nigel Kennedy will perform at the Krakow Opera as a special guest at the annual carnival concert!

For ten years, the Krakow Opera has invited the public to celebrate the carnival together during colorful and surprising concerts. It has become their tradition that in addition to soloists, special guests also appear on the stage. This year, this role fell to Nigel Kennedy. Apart from him, soloists of the opera theater will perform: Katarzyna Oleś-Blacha, Monika Korybalska, Adam Sobierajski, Jarosław Bielecki, Adam Szerszeń and Michał Kutnik. Audience will listen to a lot of music from both Americas: Hector Villa-Lobos' Bachianas Brasileiras, Don’t Cry for Me Argentina from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita or the great Frank Sinatra's hit New York, New York. In this extraordinary journey to the New World and the United States, soloists will be accompanied by the Krakow Opera Orchestra conducted by Tomasz Tokarczyk.
