Space for Art. Ryszard Otręba

The annual project Space for Art showcases the achievements of artists with links to the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. This year, the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre and buildings of the Academy and the University of Economics present prints and drawings by Ryszard Otręba. The author, best known for his abstract compositions, ascetic in form and alive with emotion, is particularly skilled in plaster printing; he developed his very own technique known as the “Otręba method”.
