An End Has a Start

They are often described as gloomy. They have been known to say that “To us, it’s interesting if it has a darkness”, but they also admit that they have been lucky. It’s not really so long ago that they swapped working nine-to-five at call centres and shoe shops for recording hits such as Munich, Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors, An End Has a Start and Papillon, performing on the main stage at Glastonbury and touring the US. Editors have been playing and performing together for over fifteen years, and their illustrious career includes Polish touches: they filmed the atmospheric video to You Don’t Know Love at Kraków’s Alchemia. In late 2019 they released a compilation Black Gold, summarising the first two chapters in the group’s history, first as a quartet and later a quintet.
