Fifty years ago at 3 Lipowa Street an experimental workshop of Cracovian glass was launched; the handmade artistic objects are now regarded as one of the most fascinating examples of postwar design in Poland. The exhibition Chasing Colours. Glass Artworks by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz at the Glass and Ceramics Centre recalls this acclaimed designer. We will see artworks created at different stages of his life, with a focus on his Cracovian period.
