The collection of Stanisław Wyspiański’s works held by the Lviv National Art Gallery comprises four pastel portraits and sixty-four loose sketches and drawing studies. The latter date back to when the artist was overseeing the painting of St Mary’s Church, his artistic journeys in Europe and his stay in Paris, and his military service in Kraków. We can see the whole collection at the Main Building of the National Museum in Krakow at the exhibition Wyspiański. Treasures from Lviv.
