Bees have been making honey for around 150 million years. To produce just 0.3 kg, they have to fly 88,500 kilometres and rest on two million flowers. We’ll discover the secrets of beekeeping during the 26th Kraków Honey Harvest. Between 6 and 8 September (9am-7pm), the Wolnica Square hosts producers of delicious honeys and other apiary products, and we will learn about their medicinal and cosmetic properties. At noon on 8 September a Bee Parade sets off from the Main Market Square to Wolnica Square, accompanied by an orchestra. Sweet! (Barbara Skowrońska)
