ON THE CORNER OF LUBICZ AND BOROWICKA
65 years since the debut and 35th anniversary of the death of Iwona Borowicka
She performed on the Krakow stage for 37 years, when she left, a fifteen-thousandth crowd waved goodbye to her, and her name was given to the street where the Kraków Opera is located.
Iwona Borowicka has already become a legend during her lifetime. If she were alive, we would celebrate her 90th birthday this year.
To commemorate the Krakow primavon, a singer who had a unique, lyrical soprano, we invite you to an extraordinary concert which program consists of fragments of the most beautiful parties, in which she performed - Liza in the Land of a Smile, Hanna in the Merry Widow, Victoria in Victoria and her Hussar or Sylva in The Csardas Princess.
