Polish National Youth Choir is an artistic and educational project dedicated to young singers between 18 and 26 years old - to pupils and vocal students of schools and music academies, and to the best singers of Polish choirs. It is financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and run by the National Forum of Music. It was created in 2013 as an independent two-module training project for singers and conductors. From 2015, it is a part of the Choral Academy project.
The choir performed in such cities as Krakow, Wrocław, Poznań, Rzeszów, Katowice, Warsaw, Białystok, Łódź, Gdańsk, Malbork, Olsztyn, Lublin, Sandomierz, Radom, Zielona Góra, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Lisbon, Ostrava, Berlin, Cologne and also took part in prestigious festivals Wratislavia Cantans, Singing Europe and Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival.
This year the Summer session of the Polish National Youth Choir is dedicated to the theme of passing away. Not only songs are devoted to sacred and philosophical topics, but also concerts are held in great venues - places rooted in our history that reflect the passage of time: Jasna Góra Sanctuary, Wieliczka Salt Mine and finally the Tyniec Abbey.
