Carmelite concert - Jakub Garbacz

On July 16 the monastery of the Discalced Carmelites at Rakowicka Street 18 the will host the fifth concert of Carmelite Meetings with Organ Music Festival.

The place behind the keys will be taken by Jakby Garbacz, the first organist in the  Łódź Archicathedral. The concert programme will cover the cross-section of epochs - from the Baroque to the present day. It will include works by Dieterich Buxtehude, Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, and the striking Rondo alla celtica of contemporary German organist and composer Hans-André Stamm.

Just like after each of the previous concerts, also after this one an audience will be invited for a meeting with artist, who -  apart from concert and liturgical activities - specializes in sound production and runs his own recording studio.
