This year’s 12th Barbican Music Festival brings fiery rhythms of the tango to Kraków. On 5 July, the Piazzolla Concert takes us on a journey to Argentina. Compositions by the maestro of tango, including Milonga del Ángel, Fuga y misterio and Libertango, are performed by the Con Affetto string quartet joined by Maja Dereń on double bass and Klaudiusz Baran on bandoneon.
