Make Some Noise

Didgeridoos, the Sydney Opera House, AC/DC – Australia has a rich musical heritage, as is right and proper for a country taking up an entire continent! The island’s chapter on hard rock is currently being written by Airbourne. When they were still kids, brothers Joel (vocals, guitar) and Ryan O’Keeffe (percussion) were the terror of the neighbourhood, causing a constant racket from their practice studio. When they were joined by another guitarist and bassist, their hometown of Warrnambool turned out to be simply too small, and the musicians moved first to Melbourne and then to the US. Their lively performance style has been recorded on four albums and features in around twenty video games. Before the release of their fifth album, we will hear their pure, ballad-free style of rock at Kwadrat on 26 September. (Bartosz Suchecki, ”Karnet”)
