Their heads are ruled by classical music, their heart by jazz, Gypsy, latino and pop sounds, and their souls by improvisation. They come together to create the unique style of the Janoska Ensemble – four musicians from Bratislava who skilfully intertwine different musical conventions. They rapidly gained acclaim by critics the world over, and in 2016 they released the album Janoska Style on the Deutsche Grammophon label. The quartet appears at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre on 5 January accompanied by Sinfonietta Cracovia under the baton of Jurek Dybał. The concert Janoska Style Goes Symphonic features excerpts from the album and their own compositions Melodie for Melody and Bossa for Amadeus. Discover the Janoska style for yourselves!
