Can artificial intelligence be creative? In a test devised a few years ago, intelligent machines reveal their imaginations by creating works of art using a certain set of data. The 7th Patchlab Digital Art Festival is dedicated to artbots. Participants can make their own artbots or model for portraits made by machines (Patrick Tresset’s installation Human Study R5 Robots Named Paul).
