Summer meeting with music in the frames of the Afternoons with Strauss cycle are a real treat for classical music lovers.
The compositions of the members of the genius Strauss family resound in the rendition of the Obligato Strauss Orchestra under the baton of Jerzy Sobeńko and soloists of the Kraków Opera and the Karol Szymanowski Philharmonic in Kraków. The concerts take place on the last Sundays of June, July, August and September; the first three are held at the courtyard of the Saltworks Castle, the last one resounds underground – at the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
