Cinematic Spring

Want to see the most popular and highly acclaimed films of the season? The programme of the 4th Cinematic Spring Festival at Pod Baranami Cinema (11-17 June) features Ferzan Özpetek’s thriller Napoli velata nominated for eleven Italian film awards, Samuel Maoz’s Foxtrot awarded the Jury Prize in Venice, and Albert Dupontel’s drama See You Up There awarded five Césars. Don’t miss A Season in France by the multi-award winning director Mahamat-Saleh Haroun. Shortlisted for the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, Erik Poppe’s U – 22 July is the re-enactment of the summer camp massacre of 2011 which shook Norway and the whole world. Éric Barbier’s Promise at Dawn is an adaptation of Romain Gary’s bestselling memoir, while Ramen Teh by Eric Khoo, the Singaporean director credited with the revival of the country’s film industry, is the heartwarming tale of a search for family history and the perfect recipe.
