Let’s Dance!
Oriental, Irish or perhaps mediaeval dance? Courtly balls, belly dancing or breakdance demonstrations? Kraków immerses itself in its first ever Dance Night!
The Dance Night (17 June) is the seventh of its kind, joining Museum, Theatre, Music, Jazz, Poetry and Cracovia Sacra Nights. The programme includes almost a hundred events such as spectacles, professional demonstrations, amateur performances and workshops. “We want to reveal the wealth of Kraków’s dance heritage,” promises Katarzyna Olesiak, director of the Cultural Department at the City of Kraków. There will be four stages in the city space: at the Small Market Square and Podgórski Square, and in front of the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre and the Białoprądnicki Manor. Events will also be held at the Proxima Nowy Theatre, Staromiejskie Cultural Centre, Kraków Art House and the Kraków Cultural Forum.
The night is yours, lovers of dance – you will find everything your souls and bodies need!
