A live-only project for many years, Jerusalem In My Heart consists at its core of Lebanese musician Radwan Ghazi Moumneh and visual artist Charles-André Coderre, both based in Montreal, Canada and orbiting around the Constellation record label galaxy. The mesmerizing union of Arab music and Western experimental electronic, where traditional instruments like the buzuk resonate against a backdrop of synth-based drones and occasional noise soundscapes, has finally found its way on two recordings, the last of which, „If He Dies, If If If If If If“ has been released on Constellation in September 2015 to widespread critical acclaim. The visual part is as much vital to the project's concept as its music and that is why a live performance is the ideal way of exploring Jerusalem In My Heart's artistic expression.
Coinciding with the 11th edition of Dutch experimental music festival Le Guess Who, where they have been asked to curate a special cast of African-American and Middle Eastern performers, the duo returns to Europe for an extended tour of four weeks.
