On 15 October, we celebrate the European Art Cinema Day for the second time! It’s a perfect opportunity to discover art cinema and enjoy some of the finest productions.
Agrafka Cinema hosts a special screening of Loving Vincent directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman – the first ever feature-length painted animation. A meeting with Daria Solar, one of the co-creators of this extraordinary work, is held after the screening.
KIKA Cinema is hosting a pre-premiere screening of the film On Body and Soul (dir. Ildikó Enyedi), accompanied by a wine tasting.
Pod Baranami Cinema presents the premiere of the French comedy/drama Back to Burgundy by Cédric Klapisch, also with a wine tasting, as well as Maciej Sobieszczański’s moving drama The Agreement. The programme also features workshops for kids, competitions and meetings with artists.
