In Chinese philosophy, these two seemingly opposite elements are inherently intertwined and give rise to one another, resulting in a perfect whole. The exhibition Four Forms of Ink at the Manggha Museum presents works by fifteen contemporary Chinese and Polish artists and their fresh interpretations of the yin and yang concept. The exhibition title is inspired by an excerpt from the Book of Changes and recalls the diversity of Chinese culture and the four elements of the exhibition: Realism, Expressionism, Abstractionism and calligraphy.
