Singular

The exhibition Singular presents photos from the collection of the Museum of Photography in Kraków which break widely accepted canons and techniques. The images, frequently taken by accident, take us beyond out visual comfort zone and break aesthetic conventions; they are badly framed, strangely processed or touched-up, all of which open new perspectives to the viewers’ imaginations. The 130 photos appear more like plastic paintings than historical documents. The exhibition forms a part of events accompanying the Conrad Festival in October.
