Seemingly born straight out of Urania's head, Belarusian poet Andrej Khadanovich is a stream of poetic consciousness that delights, impresses and moves the reader/listener. He'll be reading his poems in the original Belarusian, while Massolit host Lynn Suh will be reading the English translations.

ANDREJ KHADANOVICH, a native of Minsk, Belarus, is a poet, translator, literary critic and lecturer at the University of Minsk. Since 2008, he's been the president of PEN Club in Belarus, and since his poetic debut in 2002, his poems have been translated into numerous languages including English, Czech, Spanish, Lithuanian, German, Ukranian and Polish. In 2012, he was awarded the Zbigniew Dominiak Prize, recognizing his work in translating Polish poetry into a Slavic language. In 2015, he was awarded PEN Club Prize of Poland and the silver medal Merit of Culture Gloria Artis.
