How dropping into a public library can change your life! Premiere performance in English 16 June 2017.
Halina is an introverted, lonely forty-year-old whose sex appeal is as dusty as the books on the shelves of the library where she works. Roksana is her polar opposite – an exuberant, attractive thirty-year-old with a passion for shallow entertainment and spending her rich husband’s money. One day the two meet at Halina’s book-filled hermitage… That’s the start of Marcin Szczygielski’s Hollow Shells. The premiere of the English version of the play, starring Agnieszka Kennedy and Małgorzata Piskorz, is held at Bagatela Theatre on 16 June.
