We all want Christmas to be unforgettable, special… unique! Is this possible? Of course it is! We get the perfect recipe from the Podgorze.pl association, joined by the Podgórze Cultural Centre in hosting the Christmas Fair of Unique Items. Join us on 2 and 3 December at the Podgórski Market Square where you can make your own Christmas decorations, listen to festive music performed by children’s and youth ensembles and take a ride on an ornate, beautifully illuminated Victorian merry-go-round.
During the first December weekend, the right bank of the Vistula hosts a market of unusual gifts: hand-made decorations, natural cosmetics, enigmatic jewellery, trinkets made of felt, unusual fabrics and leather, and wooden toys. Or perhaps you fancy a gingerbread Wawel? Most of the products are made in Kraków by talented local artisans obsessed with the intricacy of their work.
