What’s the best music to express the beauty, optimism and harmony of a summer evening? Mozart, for whom nothing was impossible, achieved this with ease and charm in his divertimenti and serenades. Capella Cracoviensis presents a selection – including the most famous Serenata notturna and Eine kleine Nachtmusik – during June concerts held at the Villa Decius. The ensemble returns to the Renaissance residence in August with Haydn’s string quartets, a Baroque evening for solo harpsichord, a tonal (not atonal:-)) composition by Webern and music for basset horn.
