Philosophy of the Orient
What links cinema and philosophy? Plenty! The 11th International Philosophy Film Festival is perfect proof and Europe’s only interdisciplinary event of its kind. This year’s motto Cinema, people of the Orient, dreams and reality takes us on a journey East – and more specifically its mystical philosophy reflected in independent Iranian cinema. Between 8 and 10 May, the Literacka Café screens short films shown in Poland for the first time. The festival’s guest and curator of the film review is Ashkan Ahmadi – director, filmmaker, producer and editor. He will be interviewed by the film critic Artur Zaborski.
