The theme of the third time in a row, the TEDxKazimierz main event is Inspiration.
Underlying this concept is an essential mix of topics between art, entertainment, motivation, education, science and technology. In Krakow's Musical VarieteTheatre's stunning interior we will introduce you to the world of inspiring ideas delivered by people successful and or doing important things in many different walks of life, some famous, others who deserve to be. The speakers promise to capture the imagination of our audience with their ideas and enthusiasm, their charisma and the stories they tell.
The talks from the stage is fundamental to our event but is only part of it! At the main TEDxKazmierz Event we put a huge effort into Audience Experience, making sure that every aspect of the day is as good possible. Participants can expect artistic performances and workshops, and welcome to the after party on Barka – the coolest boat bar in Kraków.

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxKazimierz, is an independently organized non profit TED event. TED's objective is to promote ideas worth spreading through short, impactful talks given during its global conferences, and distributed for free under a Creative Commons licence. Orginally TED talks combined three key areas: Technology, Entertainment and Design, and in recent years the subject areas have spread to cover most areas of human interest and activity. TEDxKazimierz was first organized in May 2015 by Richard Lucas, a British business and social entrepreneur, who has lived in Krakow for more than 25 years. Now it has grown into n team of of passionate Kazimierz enthusiasts of different nationalities, who popularise the TED concept with the help of numerous volunteers. We aim to put the best people projects and ideas from Kazimerz on the TEDxKazimierz stage and bring ideas from the rest of the world to Kazimierz. We already successfully organized 2 conferences, and many smaller monthly meetups
