Others and Neighbours

Questions of otherness, openness and holiness fill the programme of the 17th Tischner Days (20-22 April), inspired by the distinguished priest and philosopher from the Podhale region. The guest of honour will be the German sociologist Hans Joas; he delivers a lecture at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University and takes part in the debate Other. Alien. Neighbour. Boundaries of openness with other participants including Piotr Sztompka. The State Drama School (where Józef Tischner taught philosophy of drama) presents the spectacle Do dna – an unexpected hit of this season.
