Stanisław Słowiński – violinist, arranger, composer, musical producer, multi-instrumentalist. Grand Prix Laurate at the 39th International Contest of Young Jazz Bands JAZZ JUNIORS (with his original project: Stanisław Słowiński Quintet). Winner of the Audience Award at the 1st International Zbigniew Seifert Violin Competition. Laureate of the Kraków Creative Scholarship.
As leader of his original projects, as sideman and with many chamber and symphonic orchestras (Sinfonietta Cracovia, Kraków Chamber Orchestra among others), he regularly plays all around Poland as well as abroad, in countries such as South Korea, Chile, Italy, France, Norway, Island, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Georgia, Austria, and Hungary.
He worked with internationally renowned musicians, such as (among others) Brian Eno, Ben Frost, Daniel Bjarnason, Elliot Goldenthal, Diego Navarro, Ludwig Wicki, Joe Hisaishi, Robert Kabara, Joanna Słowińska, Paweł Kaczmarczyk, Piotr Orzechowski. One of the co-creators and producers of the InfraSound Studio in Kraków. He participated and won awards at many international festivals and competitions, such as the Nine Gates Jazz Festival Beijing, Cheoyong World Music Festival, Jeonju International Sori Festival, Kavkaz Jazz Festival, WOMAD Chile, WOMEX 2015, Kraków Film Music Festival, EtnoKrakow/Crossroads, SlotArt Festival, Cracovia Sacra, Jazz Juniors 2015 (Winner of Grand Prix and Special Prize), 1st International Zbigniew Seifert Violin Competition (Winner of the Audience Award), 4th National Jazz Improvisation and Interpretation 2015 (3rd Place and Audience Award) Novum Jazz Festival (honourable mention). As leader of original projects and session musician he records (among others) for For Tune and Kayax.
