Don’t Stop the Dance
What’s the recipe for a perfect romantic dinner? Candlelight, a glass of good wine and atmospheric music. When it comes to the latter, Bryan Ferry is the natural choice. Steeped in delicate electronics, his compositions are the ideal backdrop for a slow dance. During his days at Roxy Music and in his solo career, the vocalist has always been a master of sophisticated pop and elegance (after all, Ferry studied fine art). His image of an English dandy is completed by sharp suits, a gentle vibrato in his voice, impeccable manners and just a touch of nonchalance.
On 28 May at ICE Kraków we will hear an expansive set list featuring the artist’s greatest hits as well as tracks from his latest album Avonmore (2014), acclaimed by critics and fans. May I have this dance?
The evening also features the magical Judith Owen as support. (Artur Jackowski, "Karnet" monthly)
