The repertoire of Jascha Lieberman Trio consists of the most beautiful Jewish tunes, Balkan music, and original compositions of Jascha Lieberman, the leader of the trio. Their unusual arrangements combine elements of classical, jazz, and contemporary music.
During the shooting of The Schindler’s List, Jascha Lieberman’s concerts were attended by Steven Spielberg, Kate Capshaw, and Ben Kingsley. At Spielberg’s invitation, Jascha Lieberman performed later in Jerusalem for the Schindler’s list survivors.
Other special commissions included performances for Roman Polański, Shlomo Mintz, Ronald Lauder, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. At the invitation of the Director of Deutsche Grammophon – Martin Engstroem, Jascha Lieberman appeared at the Verbier Festival.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Jascha Lieberman has performed in Poland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Israel, and the USA.
