Teatr im. J. Słowackiego i Capella Cracoviensis kontynuują rozpoczętą w zeszłym sezonie współpracę artystyczną.
A concert program can sometimes be like a good restaurant menu: it must include greedy, nutritious, captivating dishes and, above all, of great variety, so as to tease the mind and the senses. Precisely to have this completeness of flavors, I decided to combine the compositions of F. J. Haydn with J. G. Graun. Between the violin concerto and the two symphonies, 25-30 years elapse, and in this lapse of time, many things have changed in the musical language, while many have kept their shape. In the Graun Concerto, we can clearly hear the style of vivaldi throbbing together with the galenterie, the anticipation of the furies and the storms that the “sturm un drag” will bring. The ineffable grace of Haydn's compositions fascinate us with their perfect composure in the expression of the whole palette of feelings. Ladies and gentlemen, I only wish you Bon Appetit!".
